Create/Restore LEDGER Wallet

Find out how to create or restore a LEDGER Wallet from within XDEFI Wallet

1. Click on the XDEFI Wallet extension

2. From the XDEFI Wallet home screen, click on the three horizontal lines at the top right

3. Select Wallet management

‌4. Select the option Import wallet

‌5. Select Ledger

6. Plug your hardware wallet into your computer using the USB port

7. Enter your PIN code

8. Select the app you would like to open

9. Click on Ready

‌10. From the XDEFI Wallet window that opened in your web browser, click on the Connect hardware wallet button

11. In the pop-up, select the detected LEDGER device (in our example below, it’s a LEDGER Nano S)

12. Connect

You’re good to go!

You can now return to XDEFI Wallet and connect directly on it your Hardware Wallet

13. Repeat steps 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 9 (the process will be shorter in the future)

14. Choose the app (blockchain) you have opened from your LEDGER device

Note: The Ethereum application has to be open if you want to create an Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain (BSC) or Polygon LEDGER account in your XDEFI Wallet

‌14. Choose a path

15. Connect. ‌XDEFI Wallet will then scan the addresses generated by your LEDGER device

16. Select one or several accounts

Note: You can Generate more addresses if you need to and you can Select all generated addresses at once

17. Connect to XDEFI Wallet

18. Confirm via the OK button

‌Add your assets

1. Go back to the XDEFI Wallet home screen and click on + Add Assets

2. Click on the + Add assets button

3. Select the Owned tab (showing all the assets you hold)

4. Select your tokens

5. Click on the Next button

6. Confirm
