XDEFI Wallet — Release 4.0

By now you’ll likely have noticed the update to your XDEFI wallet.
It should have updated automatically, but if not, you can manually update it by following the simple steps below:
- Go to chrome://extensions/ in your browser by clicking the little puzzle icon
- Click the “Developer Mode” button on the right side of the header
- Select “Update” in the top bar
What’s new in this update? 🔥
A few things, many of which came from some great feedback from our incredible community
Send screen: New UI designs
We have redesigned the send screen for each of the chain we support. We’re currently finishing to work on EIP 1559 so Ethereum users can expect a few additional changes next month too.
Receive screen: New UI designs
Our receive screens have also been given an update to match that of the send screens above. This new look simplifies how you enter into a transaction, and gets a head of a common UI issue flagged by our community
Asset details: New UI designs
Having the right information at the right time is crucial when entering or exiting a position. With that in mind we’ve revisited the UI around our asset details to include more activity informationn and a link to access directly any Blockchain explorers.
Slideout Menu: Simplicity Without Sacrifice
In the spirit of staying true to how you set up your wallet while keeping in mind the end experience, we’ve incorporated a slideout menu. We see this as a novel approach to pursuing simplicity without sacrificing control.
Ledger: Improvements and Additions
Our last release marked Ledger’s addition, and this one marks tangible improvements to its usage in the XDEFI Wallet ecosystem with:
- Polygon support
- Ledger legacy derivation path
